Fighting Tiger's Lose In Overtime
The Fighting Tigers Men's Basketball team traveled to Tampa Bay to play Hillsborough CC on Saturday. It took overtime to determine the outcome with Andrew College falling short 97-96. The Fighting Tigers started slow and were down 45-38 at halftime. The second half saw Andrew come back with a run to take a 4 point lead. Dominic Gooden took over scoring the next 7 points for his team to tie the game at 78. But in overtime Hillsborough made enough plays to hold off Andrew with a 97-96 win for the home team. Andrew was led by Rashod Rouse with 29 points on 8-15 shooting and 12-13 from the free throw line. Freshman Ji Webb broke out offensively with a career high 23 points and 10 boards. Turnovers were a key in the loss seeing the Tigers commit 23 which led into some easy transition points for Hillsborough. The Fighting Tigers are now off until Dec 2 when they will host Georgia Christian CC at 3:00pm
