Men's Basketball Season Preview
The 2023-24 Andrew College Men's Basketball Team is excited to kick off its first season with new Head Men's Basketball Coach Brian Skortz. Coach Skortz takes over for previous Head Coach Rachard Lofton who is now at Albany Tech. Coach Skortz brings a wealth of experience at the college level and has had success previously at Brescia University (KY) and Mid-State Technical College (WI). Having developed programs that have reached national recognition in the national polls. Completing the fighting Tigers coaching staff is second-year assistant coach Matthew Shonder who also brings some NAIA and NJCAA coaching experience. Our transition this year with the changes in the program has been progressively improving each week with the program having a new coach and a new system, and just trying to get familiar with each other since arriving here in Cuthbert in mid-September. I feel that we have grown and with the style of play that I have brought here, I feel fits this group well. Being up-tempo and running the court offensively while applying pressure defensively will need to be our calling this season." Stated first-year coach Skortz.

Crawford saw some time last season in a reserve role for the Tigers but will have an increased role this season.
