CUTHBERT, Ga. -- The Andrew College men's basketball team ran their record to 2-0 on the young season, knocking off Florida Gateway College 86-80 in the Jinks Gymnasium on Tuesday night, behind 14 points by sophomore guard Jordan Booker, who also pulled down 7 rebounds, dished out 5 assists, and had a game-high 7 steals.
Tim Williamson had the first double-double of the season, pumping in 10 points, pulling down 10 boards, while also, dealing out 5 assists. Jermaine Glover added 13 points and 6 rebounds, and Corey Fulton and Jaylon "JT" Terrell each had 11 points to round out the Tigers in double figures.
The Tigers take to the road next Monday, traveling to Tallahassee, FL to take on Tallahassee Community College. Tip off is at 7:30 pm.
