CUTHBERT, Ga. -- The Tigers snapped a three-game skid on Wednesday night in the Jinks Gymnasium, rolling over East Ga. State 93-71, behind a 27 point explosion from Tez Collins. The sophomore guard put on a display of dunks and 3 pointers, going 9 for 14 from the field, including 5 of 8 on 3's, and added 7 rebounds.
Collins was the only Tiger in double figures in points, but 11 Tigers got on the scoresheet, including Keith Littles and Johntovious Chester with 9 points, Taylor "TJ" Mitchell and Jermaine Glover adding 8 points, and Jordan Booker and Jonathan Bishop chipping in with 7 points.
Booker had an astounding 15 assists on the night, and added 7 steals, both game-highs. Chester pulled down a game-high 10 rebounds. The win runs the Tigers overall record to 13-6 and 2-4 in the GCAA.
The Tigers travel to Warner Robins, GA on Saturday to take on Central Ga. Tech. Tip off is 3:00 pm
