Andrew Cross Country Opens Season at GMC Brickyard Invitational

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. -- The Andrew College men and women's cross country teams opened their fall season last Saturday, traveling to Millegdeville, GA for the GMC Brickyard Invitational, hosted by Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) fellow member Georgia Military College at their home course. Freshman Eric Bohannon led the Tigers, posting a 12th place finish in a total time of 33:53.9 on the 8k course (4.97 miles), averaging 6:49 per mile. Darius Hodges and Keith Pratt finished out the Tiger runners.

Ashanti Cannon was the lone Lady Tiger runner, finishing in 34:58.2 in the 5k (3.10 miles) course.

Both teams will compete again on Saturday, September 19 at the Julius Johnson Invitational at the Georgia Premiere XC Course in Macon, GA and is hosted by Mercer University.
