Cuthbert, Ga- Volleyball falls in 4 in Skyhawks
The Andrew College Fighting Tigers faced Point University JV Skyhawks for the second time this year.
The Fighting Tigers and Point University's JV have previously faced off this year back on September 30th. Point did earn every set that they one as the Fighting Tigers would not go away easily. Point did win that match in three sets, but it was a tough three sets.
Tonight, Andrew battled in all four sets but dropped the first two sets. In the third set Andrew turned it around and got a set on the board. Then in the fourth set the Skyhawks finished out the match and secured a win at home over the Fighting Tigers making it a 3-1 victory.
The next match for the Fighting Tigers will begin at 5:00pm EST on Thursday 10/17/2024 against Santa Fe College located in Gainesville, FL.
Andrew College is a NJCAA Div 1 institution located in Cuthbert, GA. The Fighting Tigers sponsor 15 sports and compete in the National Junior College Athletic Association and in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association.
