Welcome New Head Coach Payton Johnson

Cuthbert, Ga- The Andrew College Fighting Tigers Hire Payton Johnson as the newest Head Women's Soccer Coach

Payton Johnson has been named the newest Head Women's Soccer Coach here at Andrew College.

Payton is coming from Georgia Southwestern as she helped out the soccer program there while also being an admissions counselor for Southwestern.

Coach Johnson before her time at Southwestern was an assistant coach Deerfield High school in Albany, GA.

She then helped for a few years being a strength & conditioning coach for the Sports Academy in Auburn, GA.

Coach Johnson previously played at the Division 2 level for four years at Southwestern from 2019 to 2022, having eight goals & six assists. After her time there she then went and played for Albany State during the 2023-2024 season to finish off her playing career.

Payton has a bachelor's degree in psychology & minor in school psychology. She also has a dog named Cane and is originally from Gwinnett County

Andrew College is a NJCAA Div 1 institution located in Cuthbert, GA. The Fighting Tigers sponsor 15 sports and compete in the National Junior College Athletic Association and in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association.
