Cuthbert, Ga- Eagles beat Fighting Tigers

The Andrew College Women's soccer team went up against Oxford College of Emory University Eagles.

In the first half Andrew was staying with Oxford, but with just about halfway into the half the Eagles scored there first goal and never looked back. They did score another two more goals making it a score of three to nothing going into the break.

The second half was difficult for the Fighting Tigers as they could not stop Oxford's offensive pressure. The Eagles did end up scoring six more goals to their total making it a nine to zero. While the Fighting Tigers did have a few shots on goal in the second half, no shots went past the goalie. The final score of the match was nine to zero.

The next match for the Fighting Tigers will be at 3:00pm EST on Tuesday 10/8/2024 against South Georgia State College located in Douglas, GA.

Andrew College is a NJCAA Div 1 institution located in Cuthbert, GA. The Fighting Tigers sponsor 15 sports and compete in the National Junior College Athletic Association and in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association.
