Women's Soccer makes small improvement vs Georgia Military College

Cuthbert, Ga- Fighting Tigers have small improvement vs Georgia Military College

The Andrew College Fighting Tigers were overcome with injuries but that didn't stop Andrew from the little victories.

The Fighting Tigers did lose in the first meeting against the Georgia Military College bulldogs on the road of a score of 15-0 but tonight the Tigers held them only five goals in the first half.

While in the second half the Bulldogs did score another four goals making it a total of nine. However, the Tigers with about 17 minutes left did have a goal from Avah McGinley beating 3 defenders the entire length of the field.

Even though the Tigers lost 9-1, the small victories were evident as the soccer team got better and never gave up in the match

The next game for the Fighting Tigers will be at 4:00pm on Friday 10/4/2024 Eastern time at the Andrew College Hord Field Athletic Complex located Cuthbert, GA.

Andrew College is a NJCAA Div 1 institution located in Cuthbert, GA. The Fighting Tigers sponsor 15 sports and compete in the National Junior College Athletic Association and in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association.
