Lady Tigers Knock Off Georgia Southwestern University 4-0

AMERICUS, Ga. -- The Lady Tigers opened their spring exhibition schedule with a shutout of Georgia Southwestern University in Americus last Saturday, 4-0.

Sydney Hoiberg got the ladies on the board 42 seconds into the match, with an assist from Ilaria Berni. Kayla Kieffer tallied the next goal, also with an assist from Berni. Berni then got in the scoring action, knotching one with an assist from Hoiberg. Kia Foreman closed out the scoring for the Tigers, with an assist from Alys Maynord.

Alina Rodriquez got the win in goal with a clean sheet. She was aided by defenders Tessa Bates, Kourtney Mydlowski, Hannah Stanley, and Emaleigh Adcox.

The Lady Tigers return to the Hord Complex on Saturday, April 16, where they will take on Thomas University. The match begins at 12:00 pm. ACDN will broadcast both the girl's game and the men's game that will follow against Georgia Southwestern.
