Baker Earns All Tournament as Team Breaks Final Four Ceiling

The 2024-2025 season came to an end on Thursday night as the Fighting Tigers fell to top seed South Georgia Tech, who will represent the GCAA in the National Tournament. The season has been one of growth for the young team as they finished the season strong, making the first Final Four GCAA appearance for Andrew College in at least a decade! Braniya Baker finished the season with both All GCAA tournament honors and All Region honors.  "This team has come together and fought to overcome our youth and inexperience all year.  They have survived through ups and downs and continued to improve both as a team and as individuals," said Coach Britsky.  "The defensive effort and rebounding have been consistent all year, but we started figuring out how to score better late. This team has made me proud with their no quit attitude, if the ball had bounced our way a few more times this year, our record could be quite different. This team has represented Andrew College and themselves well!"

Andrew College is an NJCAA Div 1 institution located in Cuthbert, GA. The Fighting Tigers sponsor 15 sports and compete in the National Junior College Athletic Association and in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association.
