Fighting Tigers Made Statement Win at Home
Cuthbert, Ga- Women's Basketball has statement win vs USC Salkehatchie
The lady Fighting Tigers hosted USC Salkehatchie on Friday night.
Andrew from the start had the early lead in the game and never gave USC Salkehatchie a chance to make a run to close the gap the entire game.
USC Salkehatchie only had six total players, but they didn't stop them from forcing the Fighting Tigers to turn over the ball a few too many times in the first half.
In the second half Andrew cleaned up the turnovers only having twelve in the half and shutting down USC's offense only allowing them to score 7 points in the third quarter.
The Fighting Tigers did end up winning the game with a score of 60 to 39. They were led by Braniya Baker with 10 points & JaMya Evans with 7 points and 10 rebounds.
The next game for the Fighting Tigers will be on the road against USC Salkehatchie in the South Georgia Tech Thanksgiving Classic on November 29th at 5:00pm Est time.
