CUTHBERT, Ga. – The Andrew College Lady Fighting Tigers dropped both games of Tuesday's doubleheader against South Georgia State College, falling 10-0 in the opener and 8-0 in Game 2, with both contests ending in five innings.
Game 1: South Georgia State 10, Andrew College 0
Despite collecting six hits in the opener, the Lady Tigers were unable to bring runners home. Na'Laya Singleton and VaLaceia Burris each recorded two hits, while Baleigh Prescott and Emma Warnock added one apiece. Prescott got the start in the circle for Andrew.
South Georgia State pulled away early, using timely hitting and aggressive baserunning to take control and secure the run-rule victory after five innings.

In the nightcap, the Lady Tigers struggled to get the offense going, managing just one hit—a single from Emma Warnock. South Georgia State pitcher Emilee Garrett was dominant, allowing only one baserunner over five innings while striking out one. VaLaceia Burris started in the circle for Andrew in Game 2, going four innings and giving up four earned runs on seven hits.
