Cuthbert, Ga- Softball Starts Season Opener at Lurleen B Wallace

The Fighting Tigers face off against the Lurleen B Wallace Saints.

Lurleen last year finished with an overall record of 18-35. The Saints and Fighting Tigers played each other for a double header last year where they won both games on Andrew's home field.

The Saints are being coached by Kaitlynn Hadley as this will be her fourth year being the head coach for the Saints.

Andrew last year finished 6-43 overall. This year the Fighting Tigers are being led under a new manager and first year Head Coach Ken DeCook. Andrew has five returning players from the team last year and are eager to help the newcomers grow and see what can happen with the season.

The coaching staff and players of the Fighting Tigers are excited to start this new season and see how the culture of the program can keep growing and for them to keep working hard every day.

First pitch for game 1 of the double header for the Fighting Tigers will be at Lurleen B Wallace located in Andalusia, AL on January 30th at 3:00pm Est time.

Andrew College is a NJCAA Div 1 institution located in Cuthbert, GA. The Fighting Tigers sponsor 15 sports and compete in the National Junior College Athletic Association and in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association.
