Cuthbert, Ga- Bison pull ahead from Fighting Tigers

The Andrew College Men's Soccer team went head-to-head against Southern Union State Community College.

The first half for both teams was a very intense forty-five minutes. In the half the Bison scored one goal early but then later in the half had a corner kick header goal. The Fighting Tigers would have a few attempts with a few attempts to put the ball in the goal, but it just didn't connect. The halftime score would be with Andrew down two to zero.

Now in the second half, it was all Southern Union State offensively. The Bison with three minutes into the half scored a goal making it three to zero but it did not stop there. Andrew tried to slow them down, but the Bison just got almost every shot going their way today. Southern Union ended up scoring a total of four more goals to make it a seven to zero score. Andrew late in the half had an opportunity to score but the kick was just a little too wide. The final score ended in a score of 7-0.

The next match for the Fighting Tigers will be at 4:00pm EST on Wednesday 10/9/2024 against Pellissippi State at the Hord Athletic Sports Complex located in Cuthbert, GA.
