Andrew Men's Golf Open Fall Season in the Dan York Memorial

CULLMAN, Ala. -- The Andrew College men's golf team began its fall schedule at the Dan York Memorial Tournament, hosted by Wallace State-Hanceville at the Cross Creek Golf Club in Cullman, AL, firing a three round total of 298-308-302=908(+44). The Tigers were able to shoot 11 individual rounds in the 70's, out of 15 total possible, easily their best finish as a team since 2018.   

Emil Wallinder and Charlie Cooper paced the Tigers, with Wallinder shooting 74-78-74=226(+10) and Cooper carding a 77-74-75=226(+10) to finish in a T33rd, Burke Rawlinson signed for a 73-77-80=230(+14), Jakob Modig rallied on Tuesday with one of the best fifteen rounds of the day to finish with an 83-81-73=237(+21), and Gage Driskell rounded out the Tiger scoring, shooting a 74-79-87=240(+24).

Andrew tees off again at the 2021 Trojan Invitational on October 4-5 in Montgomery, AL at the Lagoon Park Golf Course.
