Andrew and South Georgia Tech have played once already in conference play at South Georgia Tech back on January 25th, where the Jets won that meeting by a score of 81 to 57.

This time the Jets and the Fighting Tigers had a match that no one will forget for a while.

In the first half the Fighting Tigers could not miss from 3-point land as they started the game with sinking three straight three pointers, having a 9-2 start. Then Andrew then kept moving the ball well and getting to the free throw line early. South Georgia Tech had a rough start having many shots rim out but still had 33 points to end the half, while the Fighting Tigers had 44 points going into halftime.

The second half was a very back-in-fourth twenty minutes of play. Andrew and South Georgia Tech would trade baskets but then midway in the half is when the Jets then changed up their defense that caused Andrew to struggle and helped them get back into the game making it a four-point game 65 to 61. Then with about three minutes left Andrew's Cole Kring made some big plays down the stretch knocking down some a mid-range & three pointer to stretch the lead out again. Then roughly with less then a minute the Jets convert on an and one three pointer to make it a two possession game. Then Evrad Makendi has a monster block to seal the deal for the Fighting Tigers and their victory at home with a final score of 75 to 73.

Andrew had four players in double digits but leading the way was Elijah White, while shooting 4 of 6 from behind the arc. Other notable players were Cole Kring with 13 points, Evrad Makendi with 12 & Jeremiah Flournoy with 11 points.

The next game for the Fighting Tigers will be at home vs Central Georgia Tech College located in Cuthbert, GA on February 24th  at 7:00pm Est time.
