Andrew Wins Home Opener with 2 Double Doubles

The Fighting Tigers tonight went head-to-head against West Prep Academy for the first game of the year.
In the first half West Prep was getting to their spots offensively and making it difficult for Andrew. West prep shot 43 percent from the field and scored 50 points on the Fighting Tigers in the first half. While Andrew shot 40 percent from the field and scored 49 points.
The second half was a completely different story for both teams. Andrew's defense ramped up and only allowed West Prep to score only 39 points in the half while making them shoot 29 percent from the field. While the Fighting Tigers scored 55 points and shot 48 percent from the field in the half.
Andrew really shared the ball tonight as they had 40 overall team assists and crashing the glass having 32 offensive rebounds.
The Fighting Tigers were led by Mekhi Witter with 23 points, 11 Reb & 5 Assists and Kordes Swain with 25 points, 12 Rebounds & 8 Assists.
The next game for the Fighting Tigers will be at home in the Jinks Gymnasium located in Cuthbert, GA against Community Christian College of Georgia on November 2nd at 3pm Est time.
