First Two Football Graduates in Program History

Cuthbert, GA - Andrew College (Athletics) is proud to announce that two of its student-athletes will officially sign or have committed to continue their academic and athletic careers at the four-year level.

Yanis Kasende, a Defensive Back from Lanier High School in Georgia, started for the Fighting Tigers this past season and had a tremendous impact as a key member of the defense. He has received offers and interest from Bemidji State, Fayetteville State, Shaw University, and Chowan. Kasende plans to make his college decision in the coming weeks.

Jessie Caver, a Quarterback from Mary Persons High School in Alabama, started for the Fighting Tigers this past season and led the program to a 5-2 season in just its first year. He has signed with Tuskegee University and has already participated in Spring Ball.

This is a great milestone in the lives of our student-athletes, who have demonstrated exceptional dedication in the classroom, community and on the field. 

Andrew College is a NJCAA Div 1 institution located in Cuthbert, GA. The Fighting Tigers sponsor 14 sports and compete in the National Junior College Athletic Association and in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association.
