Football National Signing Day Success
Andrew College Football completed the National Signing Day with a win as the program brought in a total of 49 student-athletes in its first year. The Inaugural Fighting Tigers signing class comprises 27 players from Georgia, including 18 high school students deciding to stay in their home state to continue their academic and athletic careers. The Fighting Tigers also have recruits from Alabama (11), Florida (8), California(1), Louisiana(1), and Texas(1). The coaching staff was able to sign a total of 20 transfers from various institutions and levels of play including NCAA Division I, Division II, NAIA, and other community colleges.
“This marks a significant milestone for college football in the state of Georgia. We are optimistic about great things to come as an athletic program and institution of higher education.” - Coach Garrett said.
The football program will look to begin the season in August with a blue and gold scrimmage followed by the regular season.
