Bryson Brookshire Drives In 4 To Lead Andrew College Tigers Past East Georgia

CUTHBERT, GA – The Andrew College Tigers exploded offensively on Wednesday, rolling past East Georgia College with an 18-8 win at the Hord Athletic Complex.

Bryson Brookshire led the charge at the plate, going 3-for-4 with a home run, a double, and 4 RBIs. He drove in runs in the first, fourth, and sixth innings, setting the tone for a dominant offensive performance.

The Tigers responded quickly after falling behind 3-0 in the top of the first, tying the game with hits from Jack Quick, Brookshire, and Patrick Crosby. Andrew took control in the second inning with a 5-run frame, capped by a grand slam off the bat of Luke Turner.

Turner finished the day 2-for-4 with 5 RBIs, while Braden Simmons also delivered a clutch 3-run double in the fifth. Crosby, Al Nsah, and Brookshire each tallied three hits as the Tigers racked up 15 total hits and drew eight walks.

On the mound, Jadon Lirette earned the win in relief, tossing four innings while allowing three runs and striking out three. Riley Gaskins made the start, and Logan Waldrop closed it out.

The Tigers hit the road to wrap up the series with East Georgia College, playing a single game on Friday, April 4 at 3:00 PM, followed by a doubleheader on Saturday, April 5 starting at 1:00 PM in Swainsboro, GA.
