CUTHBERT, GA – The Andrew College Tigers hosted Gordon College for a Saturday doubleheader, with several Tigers standing out offensively despite the pair of losses.
Game 1: Gordon College 6, Andrew College 4
Luke Turner showcased his power at the plate, launching two solo home runs—one in the second inning and another in the fourth. Jack Quick and Braden Simmons added to the power surge with back-to-back solo shots in the sixth and seventh innings, respectively.
Al Nsah led the Tigers in hits, going 3-for-3 at the plate as Andrew out-hit Gordon 8-7. Noah Bunch started on the mound, going four innings and striking out two.
Game 2: Gordon College 9, Andrew College 2
Andrew got off to a quick start in Game 2, as Jack Quick blasted a two-run homer in the bottom of the first to give the Tigers an early lead. He finished the game 2-for-4 with 2 RBIs, while Patrick Crosby also collected two hits.
On the mound, Ricky Solorzano and Kolton Thornton combined to throw for the Tigers, with Thornton tossing two and two-thirds scoreless innings in relief.

The Tigers return to action on Wednesday, April 2, for a home gamer against East Georgia College. First pitch is set for 3:00 PM at the Hord Athletic Complex in Cuthbert.
