Adam Biss Named New Head Baseball Coach
Cuthbert, Ga - Athletic Director Brian Skortz has announced the promotion of assistant Baseball Coach Adam Biss as the new skipper of the Fighting Tigers Baseball Program taking over for Blake Williams, who has accepted a Head Coaching Position at a NAIA school. "We appreciate what Coach Williams has accomplished here in leading our baseball program. Guiding this program to a National NJCAA Tournament appearance and accumulating over 300 career wins here at Andrew College. We wish Coach and his family the very best in the next chapter of his coaching career." stated Athletic Director Brian Skortz. "We are excited to announce that Coach Biss is stepping into his new role as our Head Baseball Coach. Coach Biss is a proven leader and is committed to continue to build on the success of the baseball program as he takes over the reins from Coach Wiliams."added Athletic Director Skortz.

Biss, from Kentwood, MI, played his freshman year at Davenport University in Grand Rapids, MI, then transferred to the Community College of Baltimore County Essex (MD), where he participated in the 2018 NJCAA Div. II World Series in Enid, OK. He then transferred to Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, GA where he was named 1st Team All-Conference on the 2020 Conference Carolinas Baseball Team. Coach Biss has a very distinguished background with leading his team as a player to the NJCAA D2 World Series and then in his coaching career helping lead his Andrew College team to the NJCAA D1 World Series.
Adam Biss earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Emmanuel in 2021.
Andrew College is a NJCAA Div 1 institution located in Cuthbert, GA. The Fighting Tigers sponsor 15 sports and compete in the National Junior College Athletic Association and in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association.
