Bio
Tevon Harris enters his first year as head coach of the Andrew College women’s volleyball program after being hired in August, his first collegiate head coaching position. In his first season, Harris took a team that went 4-19 to a 15-15 record. During his tenure, the Lady Tigers have played eight top-20 teams in the country and were recently declared the 2025 Division I NJCAA volleyball champions in the state of Georgia.
While attending Florida State University, Harris was a manager for the FSU women’s volleyball team for four years while playing for the men’s club volleyball team for four and a half years. He also played competitive beach volleyball through FSU’s club system for two years and helped run clinics for Venice High School’s beach volleyball team.
Prior to joining the collegiate ranks, Harris was an assistant coach for the boys varsity team and the JV girls team at Venice High School in Venice, Florida, his alma mater. In addition, he managed the varsity girls volleyball team for two years and the 16U and 17U club teams at Venetian Bay Volleyball Club.
During his time as a student-athlete at Venice High School, he played varsity boys volleyball for three seasons, including three years at Venetian Bay Volleyball Club.
Over the past four years, Harris has been an invited coach at FSU summer camps and is looking forward to a fifth consecutive year this summer.
Throughout his time at Andrew College, Harris has fostered meaningful relationships with his student-athletes while building a championship reputation over the course of two seasons.
Harris graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in psychology and a minor in African American studies.
