CARTERSVILLE, Ga. -- The Lady Fighting Tigers let game two slip through their grasp, as Georgia Highlands rallied to tie the game in the bottom of the 7th and 8th innings, then scored the game winner in the bottom of the 9th inning, to send the Lady Tigers to a 10-9 defeat. The Lady Chargers won game one 6-3.
Caitlin Davis went 2 for 5 with a double and 3 RBI in game two, Madison Beazley, Katie Hayes, and Kierra West each had a hit and an RBI, while Cheyenne Tillman and Kaitlyn Smith both had a hit.
In game one, Kenzi Maddox doubled in two runs for the Lady Tigers, as they managed only 4 hits in the game.
Andrew will be in Albany, Ga. on Tuesday for a huge GCAA match up versus Darton State, with a chance to sew up the Lady Tigers first playoff berth in the fast pitch era.
