Becoming a Collegiate Student Athlete
Playing sports at the collegiate level requires a great deal of hard work and dedication. If you are interested in playing competitively at Andrew College, we welcome the opportunity to learn more about you as an athlete and as a student.
If you would like to submit your information to a member of our coaching staff, please click on the appropriate sport and complete the interest form. Once submitted, it will be reviewed by a member of the coaching staff for that sport.
Being an Athlete at Andrew College
Andrew College teams play regular season opponents in Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi. As a junior college, some sports may play not only other junior college opponents but also the JV teams of four-year colleges (and sometimes their varsity squads).
Athletes are provided official Andrew College athletic gear (t-shirts, bags, etc.) at no cost.
We know that being an athlete sometimes means that you must miss class for games. To help make sure you don’t fall behind, coaches monitor required study hall hours for players during the week, and athletes (as well as the rest of the student body) can take advantage of free face-to-face and online tutoring.
Eligibility Rules:
Freshman eligibility rules for the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) are straightforward. An athlete must have graduated high school and be enrolled for the first time as a full-time student at the college in order to satisfy initial eligibility. More about NJCAA eligibility regarding first and second-year players may be found by clicking here:
Since many of our athletes go on to compete at the NCAA or NAIA level after playing at Andrew, you can click on the links below to see the specific eligibility criteria for that governing body.
