Lady Tigers Fall in Spring Schedule Opener to Atlanta Metro 70-58

CUTHBERT, Ga. -- The Lady Fighting Tigers started slow, falling behind by 11 points after the 1st quarter, 15 points by half, and despite a few rallies in the 2nd half, could never overcome the early decifit, and fell to Atlanta Metro on Wednesday night in the Jinks Gymnasium 70-58.

Toddrianna Isler posted her seventh double-double of the year, pumping in 16 points and pulling down 12 boards to pace the Tiger offense. Nylia Perry added 12 points on four 3-pointers, Alexis Cainion and Dawniqua Snead, both scored 8 points, and Akasha Wiliams came off the bench to chip in 7 points and pull down 7 rebounds.

The Tigers will be back in Jinks on Saturday for a match up with South Georgia Tech, tip off at 1:00 pm.
