WADLEY, Ala. -- The Andrew College women's basketball teams modest two-game winning streak came to an abrubt end on Wednesday night to Southern Union State Community College 78-71. The Lady Tigers took an 8 point lead into halftime, but couldn't hold off the Lady Bison behind Arit Asanga's game high 24 points.
Patra Parris posted her second double-double of the season, dropping in a team-high 22 points and pulling down a team-high 13 boards, to lead the Tigers. Tynicia McCoy added 19 points and 6 rebounds, while Santasia Faust chipped in 14 points and 4 boards.
The Tigers open GCAA play on Saturday, taking on Albany Technical College in the Jinks Gymnasium at 2:00 pm.
