Andrew Golf Opens Spring Season At Chilly 2022 Titan Winter Invitational
MELBOURNE, Fla. -- The Andrew College men's golf team opened their spring season at the 2022 Titan Winter Invitational, firing a 309-316=625 on the Suntree Country Club Classic Course, finishing just four strokes out 6th place in the nine-team tournament, with 18 holes to be played tomorrow. The 2022 Titan Invitational field has attracted a pair of NJCAA powers in Central Alabama Community College and tournament host Eastern Florida State, along with four-year power Keiser University (FL).
Emil Wallinder led the Tiger scoring, shooting a 73-82=155(+11), finishing T29th, Burke Rawlinson carded a 79-77=156(+12), putting him alone in 32rd, Charlie Cooper shot an 80-79=159(+15), Gage Driskell signed for a 77-83=160(+16), and Jakob Modig, competing for the first time since early October due to a shoulder injury, rallied in round two to finish with a 91-78=169(+25).
