Andrew Golf Struggles in Opening Tournament; Konradsson Top Scorer Again
CULLMAN, Ala. -- The Andrew College Men's Golf team opened their fall schedule at the 2018 Fall Invitational, hosted by Wallace State-Hanceville, and held at the Cullman Golf Course, shooting 315-312-318=945(+81) and finished in 13th place. The teams played 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday.
Rasmus Konradsson, a 2017 NJCAA Div. II PING All-Region selection, was Andrew's leading scorer for the 8th time in nine tournaments, carding a 74-76-76=226(+10) to finish T34th. Grant Richardson had his best showing of his college career, shooting 75-77-77=229(+13) to finish 39th. Logan Bracey grinded out a 79-74-78=231(+15) for a T42nd place finish. Jackson Wallis signed for an 87-98-87=272(+56) and Jacob Brantefelt shot 99-85-90=274(+58) to round out the Tiger's scoring.
The Tigers tee off next at the Bulldog JUCO Preview Classic, hosted by Georgia Military College, at the Harbor Club in Greensboro, GA on September 24-25.
