Blake Williams is in his fourteenth season at Andrew College with it being his twelfth as Head Baseball Coach and seventh as Athletic Director. Blake is a 2007 graduate of Emmanuel College with his B.S. in Kinesiology – Sports Management and a 2008 graduate of North Georgia College and State University with a Masters in Physical Education.

Williams is a 2001 graduate of Oconee County High School in Watkinsville, GA. While in high school he lettered in baseball and basketball. Blake Williams earned all-region honors for baseball and helped his team to a number four ranking in the state his senior year at Oconee County High School. After high school he signed a baseball scholarship with Southern Union State Community College which is located in Wadley, Alabama. After SUSCC he signed with Emmanuel College located in Franklin Springs, Georgia to finish out his playing career. Blake was a four year starter and finished with a career batting average of .346 while in college and was a very intense competitor and a very versatile player while primarily playing infield but also saw spot duty in the outfield.

Blake is going into his sixteenth year of college baseball coaching with previous coaching stops at Emmanuel College for two years and coaching in the summer collegiate ranks in the Great Lakes League.

After completing his twelfth year as head coach of the Tigers program Blake has had very good success in moving the program to a higher standard. Blake Williams has guided the baseball program to an increase in overall wins and conference wins. Blake guided the team to a first in program history as they entered the NJCAA national polls during the 2015 season. The Tigers in the past twelve seasons since being appointed as Head Coach has helped place 122 student athletes at 4 year schools to continue their education and baseball playing career and 3 former tigers drafted; Kevin McCoy in the 2013 MLB draft 24th round by the Seattle Mariners, Christian Aragon as a free agent 2018 with Los Angeles Angels, Chandler Raiden as a free agent 2018 with the Tampa Bay Rays. During the 2017 season saw Chris Schwarzer the Tigers catcher win a national gold glove along with being named the NJCAA D1 national defensive player of the year. Coach Williams has had six individuals winning a national rawlings gold glove in 2016 outfielder Michael Warren, 2017 catcher Chris Schwarzer, 2018 outfielder Jordan Holt, 2019 outfielder Brenton Phillips, 2021 outfielder Jacob Pierce, and in 2022 Brayden Eavenson. During the 2021 season Williams lead the Tiger program to it's first ever Georgia Collegiate Athletic Conference championship while breaking the school record for wins in a season with 35 and advancing to a district tournament. Also, during the 2021 season saw Kaleb Podger named the player of the year for the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association while also being honored as a 3rd team all american by the National Junior College Athletic Association. As Williams continued to build the program saw the 2023 squad win it's second ever Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association conference title, first ever appalachian district title, first ever NJCAA D1 world series berth. The 2023 baseball team accomplished many first for the Tigers program with advancing to the NJCAA D1 world series, final 10 teams battling it out in Grand Junction, Colorado, finishing with a final top 10 NJCAA D1 ranking, and finishing with the second most wins in school histrory. Coach Williams was also named the 2023 Appalachian District Coach of the year for his teams success.  

Coach Williams is also the winningest coach in Andrew College history in his short time while at the helm of the program. The baseball program was started in 1984 and in his past twelve years as head coach has ammassed the most wins while routinely getting his sophomores signed to four year institutions.   

On May 10, 2016 Blake Williams was appointed as Athletic Director to already go with his current duties as Head Baseball Coach, he oversees a department of eight sports; women's volleyball, men soccer, women's soccer, women's basketball, men's basketball, men's golf, softball, baseball, as well as eight head coaches, a facilities coordinator and SID, an athletic training program, and assistant coaches. Blake has been instrumental in starting back up Men's Basketball for the 2017-2018 season and in 2019-2020 re-introducing Men and Women's Cross Country as we see the athletic department grow and prosper. Coach Williams will be serving as Head Baseball Coach along with being the Athletic Director leading the athletic program to future success. 

Blake Williams is married to the former Kayla McNeal of Braselton, GA on July 24, 2010. They reside in Cuthbert, GA with their three daughters Kori, Payton, and Ryleigh Williams.
