Lady Tigers Volleyball in Playoffs

CUTHBERT, Ga. -- The Andrew College volleyball team will make their first-ever playoff run in the Jinks Gymnasium at 2:00 pm on Saturday, in a best three out of five set match versus Spartanburg Methodist College. The winner will advance to district play next weekend in either New York or Maryland.

In 24 matches this season, the Tigers were led in Kills by Tara Rogers with 122, followed by Shay Oliver with 97, Macie Kirby with 60, Alexis Allison had 36, Hannah Messick contributed 22, Tavoshia Cosby added 10, and Ashley West chipped in with 7. Aishwarya Palekar led the team 97 Digs, with Delaney Bell adding 71, Lexi Elisor chipping in 57, Audree Alford adding 31, Alondra Quntero contributing 11, and Kristen Moore finishing with 10. Gianna Basulto led the Tigers with a whopping 375 Assists, followed by Palekar's 38. 

The Tigers, led by third year head coach Donna Rountree, have only two sophomores, Rogers and Oliver, and set the season record with seven wins.
