Andrew Women's Soccer Sends a Pair to the Next Level

CUTHBERT -- Andrew College Women's Soccer Head Coach Katie Brasher announced Alexandra White and Tori Rodriguez  inked Letters of Intent with four year schools in a signing ceremony at the Jinks Gymnasium late last week.

White, a sophomore from Stuart, FL and Jensen Beach High School, started all 15 matches in her sophomore season, mostly in the holding mid position, and will head to Faulkner University in Montgomery, AL next season. The Lady Eagles play in the Southern States Conference as part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), where Head Coach Pritchard Ndaira will be entering his second season in 2019.

Rodriguez, a sophomore from Leesburg,FL and Leesburg High School, moved through the forward spot in her freshman year, where scored 4 goals, to a more holding midfielder in her sophomore campaign, where she earned 2nd Team All-Region in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA). She will head to Warner University in Lake Wales, FL, which competes in The Sun Conference as a part of the NAIA, as well as the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA). The Lady Royals, led by 3rd year head coach Payton Chitwood, made it to the quaterfinals in The Sun Conference playoffs, then advanced to the NCCAA National Championships, as the NCCAA South Regional Champions, where they went 1-2 in pool play.
