Andrew Women's Soccer Captain, Chandler Elliott Named GCAA Player of the Week

CUTHBERT, Ga. -- The Lady Fighting Tigers picked up their second Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) Player of the Week, as Chandler Elliott took home the honors for week 8. A booming equalizer from 30 yards out, at the 64th minute tied the match with ABAC last Wednesday, although the Tigers were unable to secure the win. It was her team-leading 6th goal of the season.

Elliott, a sophomore from Marathon, FL, has led Andrew in shots, points, and goals both years in Cuthbert, banging home 11 goals and 3 assists in 28 career games, all starts. 

Freshman goal keeper Sophia LaMar took home Player of the week honors in week 4.
