Cuthbert, GA - After a long and arduous season, the Lady Fighting Tigers have seen their hardwork pay off. More specifically, 3 players in particular. Chandler Elliott and Celine Elie have been selected as 1st Team All-Region players and Tori Rodriguez has been selected as a 2nd Team All-Region player. Despite a tough season and a 2-13 record, the girls managed to crack 2 spots in the 1st Team. "I think each of the three players are very deserving of these honors. I think the impact they had in each and every game and the work ethic they portrayed time in and time out shows that it doesn't go unnoticed." said Hussak. "Chandler was our leading point scorer and captain, and she made herself known to the other team in every game. Celine was a tough nut to crack in our back line and gave a lot of players trouble from a defensive standpoint. Tori, made herself a very difficult player to play against, tackling hard, scoring some key goals and being very versatile on the field." Hussak continued. 

As the girls enter off-season, Hussak believes that there is only one direction the team will head. "I think it took a bit of time for the girls to get comfortable with one another and the higher level of play, but tactically they began to see the game in a whole new light, and that is very reassuring for the future. Pair that with some strong recruits and we can start to pull more and more positive results out." said Hussak.
