Agnes Evangelista Earns NSCAA Scholar All-American Honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) announced on Friday the Men's and Women's Scholar All-American teams for the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), and for the 2nd year in a row, a member of the Andrew College Women's Soccer team has been recognized for her stellar academics, as well as her contributions on the pitch. This year, sophomore forward Agnes Evangelista earned 2nd-Team Scholar All-American.

Evangelista started 25 matches in her two-years at Andrew, knotching 7 goals and 5 assists, while playing in all 36 matches. She scored 2 goals against Gordon State in one match-up, then followed that up with another against the Lady Highlanders in the 1st round of the GCAA playoffs in her freshman year.

Originally from Victoria, Australia, she attended McKinnon Secondary College. She is a History Major, with a 3.82 GPA.
