Lady Tigers Soccer Nab Six Post Season Awards

CUTHBERT, Ga. -- The Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) announced NJCAA Region 17 All-Region and All-Tournament Teams last Friday, and the Andrew College women's soccer team had two 1st-Team, two 2nd-Team, and two Honorable Mentions on the All-Region Team.

Soleil-Thai Baker, a freshman goalkeeper from Lakeland, FL, and Sydney Hoiberg, a sophomore midfielder from Nashville, TN were named 1st team All-Region. Baker recorded 3 wins, with a 2.48 GAA, turned away 102 shots, and posted 1 shutout. Hoiberg posted a team-leading 5 assists, scored 2 goals, and started 25 of 34 games for the Lady Tigers over her two-year career.

Alexandria Felger, a freshman midfielder from Lawrenceville, GA, and Payton Tullis, a freshman forward from Bethlehem, GA were named 2nd team All-Region. Felger notched 4 goals, including 2 game winners, added 3 assists, and started all 18 games for the Tigers this season. Tullis had a team-high 6 goals and 15 points, with 1 game winner, and started all 17 games that she appeared in.

Emaleigh Adcox, a sophomore defender from Canton, GA, and Karissa Trikones, a freshman defender from Murrayville, GA were named Honorable Mention All-Region. Adcox provided sturdy defense from her centerback position, and started all 17 games she appeared in for the Tigers this season. Trikones posted 2 assists and was one of only two Tigers to start all 18 games this year.
