CUTHBERT, Ga.-- Buffi Tillman broke a scoreless match in the 79th minute, with a defender draped all over her back, to propel the Lady Fighting Tigers to a crucial 1-0 victory against Gordon State College at the Hord Athletic Complex on Wednesday. Sydney Hoiberg snaked a perfect thru ball ahead to Tillman, who found the left corner of the goal. The win solidifies a home playoff game next Tuesday. The opponent is still to be determined. Soleil-Thai Baker turned away five shots to earn her first shutout and third win of the season.
The Tigers finish their regular season on Saturday, traveling to Atlanta, GA to take on Emory-Oxford at 5:00 pm
