Lady Tiger Basketball Rolls Over Enterprise St 86-60; Johnson With 26 Points; Dixon/Shell With Double-Doubles

CUTHBERT, Ga. -- The Andrew College Women's Basketball team opened the 2022-23 season with a 86-60 rout of the visiting Enterprise State CC (AL) Lady Boll Weevils at the Jinks Gymnasium on Saturday morning. The Lady Tigers made 31 field goals and 20 free throws in the contest, outscoring Enterprise 48-30 in the second half to pull away for the easy win.

Sophomore Ja'Maya Johnson led the charge, pouring in 26 points, Alayasia Dixon dropped in 24 points, pulled down a game-high 15 boards and 5 steals, Jalen Shell tossed in 15 points and 11 rebounds, Jordan Eafford added 12 points to round out the Tigers in double figures, and Aaliyah Ringold had a game-high 5 assists and 7 points in the win.

The Lady Tigers are on the road at Chattahoochee Valley Community College in Phenix City, AL on Monday at 5:30 pm.
