MACON, Ga. -- The Andrew College women's basketball team rallied from 6 points down in the final minutes, capped by a layup from Si'Tra Newton with 10 seconds to go, and held on for the 60-58 win over Central Ga. Tech in Macon, GA on Monday night. Taliah Wesley paced the Tiger attack, pouring in a game-high 28 points.
Wesley and Newton both posted double-doubles, with 28 points and a game-high 12 rebounds for Wesley and 10 points, 10 boards, along with a game-high 5 assists for Newton in the game that had multiple large lead changes. Serai Johnson and Noelle Butts each chipped in 5 points apiece.
The Lady Tigers are back in the Jinks Gymnasium against Central Ga. Tech on Tuesday, with a 5:30 pm tip off.
