Lady Tigers Unleash Big 4th Quarter; Knock Off East Ga. 55-52; Riggins With 18

SWAINSBORO, Ga. -- Down four points through three quarters at East Georgia State on Saturday afternoon, the Andrew College Lady Fighting Tigers unloaded for 22 points in the quarter, to pull out a tough 55-52 win, picking up their 3rd Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) win and 4th overall on the season. Andrew has won two of their last three games, the only loss being an overtime buzzer beater.

Taylor Riggins busted out for a season-high 18 points, going 5 for 10 from the field, including 3 for 3 on 3-pt. attempts, and hitting 5 of 6 free throws to pace the Tigers. Dawniqua Snead added 8 points and 6 rebounds, Destiny Reed chipped in 7 points and pulled down a team-high 9 rebounds, Nijhala Alexander came off the bench to put up 7 points and 7 boards, L'Trinity Eubanks added 6 points and a pair of assists, and Alliyah Styles had a game-high 4 assists.

The Tigers return to Jinks Gymnasium for another GCAA match up, taking on Central Georgia Tech on Wednesday. Tip off is 5:30 pm.
