Womens Basketball's Toddrianna Isler Named NJCAA Region 17 All-Region 1st Team

CUTHBERT, Ga. --  The Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) announced their All-Region teams, Player of the Year, and Coach of the Year this week, and Andrew College's Toddrianna Isler was named 1st Team All-Region.

Isler, a sophomore from Albany, GA and Monroe High School, led the Lady Tigers in points per game (ppg) with 15.4 ppg, rebounds per game (rpg) with 9.6 rpg, and field goal percentage, shooting 48% from the field. She was 4th amongst all players in the GCAA, in all three categories.

Isler had a memorable two years in Cuthbert, turning herself from a lightly recruited high school senior into a NCAA Div. I signee. Along the way, she participated in the 2017 NJCAA Women's Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Weekend last summer, one of just 40 players from around the country to be invited. She scored 751 points in her career, now the 2nd leading scorer in Andrew College women's basketball history, averaging 13.7 points in 55 games, including 53 starts. She put up 24 double-doubles over her career, easily in 1st place for Andrew College women's basketball history, and is also only the second player in school history to have a career double double, with 13.7 ppg and 10.1 rpg. Isler also boasts a 2.9 GPA, and is headed to NCAA Div. I Alcorn State next year.

Head Coach Courtney Pritchett had this to say about Isler, "Statistics just scratch the surface of Todd's value to Andrew College, these two teams, and myself personally, as she epitimizes what any coach, in any sport, hopes at the end of the day, and that is that they are coachable, disciplined, team-orientated, have great character, and make progress. Wins, losses, and stats fade with time, people are what you remember, and Todd is a special one."
