Lady Tigers Drop GCAA Opener to Albany Tech 56-54

CUTHBERT, Ga. -- Despite game highs in points with 16 and rebounds with 10 from Toddrianna Isler, the Lady Fighting Tigers couldn't hold six point lead going into the fourth quarter, and fell in the GCAA opener 56-54 to Albany Tech in the Jinks Gymnasium on Saturday. It was Isler's 3rd double-double of the year.

Nylia Perry pumped in 14 points, including 4 of 6 from 3-pt. range, and Santasia Faust added 10, as the Tigers were held to their lowest scoring output of the season. The ladies came in to the game averaging 76 points a contest. Patra Parris added 9 boards and 9 points in the effort.

Alicia Gertman paced the Lady Titans with 16 points.

The Tigers (4-5, 0-1 GCAA) will play a home and home with Faulkner State JV this week, traveling to Montgomery, Ala., on Tuesday, before returning to Jinks Gymnasium on Saturday for a 2:00 pm match up.
