Lady Tigers Take Down LBW 64-58

ANDALUSIA, Ala. -- Nylia Perry and Tynicia McCoy poured in a game-high 19 points each to lead the Lady Fighting Tigers to a non-conference road win over Lurleen B. Wallace on Saturday, 64-58.

Santasia Faust and Patra Parris each had 11 points, while Toddrianna Isler added 4 points for all the Tigers scoring in the game. Isler grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds, including 10 off the defensive glass, as Andrew outrebounded the Lady Saints 41-31.

Faust had a game-high 4 assists and 8 rebounds, and McCoy added 3 assists and grabbed 7 boards.

The Lady Tigers continue to score at a dizzing pace, averaging 75 points a game, third in the region behind only South Georgia Tech at 77 points a game, and Chattahoochee Tech at 76 points a game. The Lady Tigers are first in free-throw attempts with 182, and second in field goal attempts with 456, behind Chattahoochee Tech with 515. Click HERE for the list.

McCoy, averaging 18.8 points a game, sits second in the region in scoring, behind Tymeshia Dozier from Chattahochee Tech at 19.7 points per game. Faust and Parris are tied at ninth in scoring, averaging 13 points a game, while Isler is thirteenth at 11.5 points per game, and Perry is seventeenth with 10.8 a game. The win runs the Lady Tigers record to 3-3 on the young season. They travel to Enterprise Ala. on Tuesday night to take on Enterprise State at 5:30 pm.
