Lady Tigers Open With Big Win Over Southern Crescent

CUTHBERT, Ga. -- The Andrew College women's basketball team roared out to a 49-24 halftime lead and cruised to an 81-50 win over Southern Crescent Tech in the Jinks Gymnasium on Tuesday night, giving Courtney Pritchett his first college win as a Head Coach. Toddrianna Isler led the Tigers with 19 points on 8-11 shooting from the field, and fellow freshman Nylia Perry dropped 5 of 6 from 3pt. land to add 15 points off the bench for the Tigers.

Melia Jones also came off the bench to chip in 12 pts, while Santasia Faust with 11, and Tynicia McCoy with 10, rounded out the Lady Tigers in double figures. McCoy pulled down 9 rebounds to pace the Tigers, while Patra Parris chipped in with 7 rebounds and 6 pts. Faust led the Tigers with 3 steals, and Jones added a pair of steals.

The Lady Tigers travel on Friday to Hanceville, AL to take on Wallace State, then Boaz, AL to play Snead State on Saturday. They will be back in the Jinks Gymnasium next Tursday.
