CUTHBERT, Ga. -- The Andrew College Softball team got off the deck following a 12-1 loss in game one to Enterprise State CC (AL) on Tuesday afternoon at the Hord Athletic Complex, riding a complete game shut out from starter Emilee Register, a pair of two-run homers and 5 RBI from Alexis Copeland, and ended the game with a solo homer from Sarah Culp, in the walk-off 9-0 win.
Register picked up her first collegiate victory in the 9-0 win, allowing just one hit and striking out 2 in the complete game shutout. Copeland was 3 for 3 with a double, 2 home runs and 5 RBI, Culp was 1 for 3 with a homer and 2 RBI, and Kylie Guidas and Allyson Lanford each singled in a run, as Andrew picked up their 2nd win of the young season.
The Lady Tigers travel to Phenix City, AL on Saturday for a 1:00 pm doubleheader against CVCC.
