Andrew Softball Assistant Madison Ragan Signs Pro

CUTHBERT, GA -- New Andrew College Softball Assistant Coach Madison Ragan has new summer job, signing a contract with The American Softball Association (ASBA). The ASBA is a women's professional softball league debuting in Mobile, AL on June 15, 2018. She was drafted by the Outkast after a standout college career.

Her first two years were spent at Chipola College in Marianna, FL where she won a NJCCA Div. I National Softball Championship as a freshman, and finished runner-up her sophomore year. She totaled 136 hits, 26 homeruns, 124 RBI, and 250 total bases in her two years at Chipola before transfering to Jacksonville University (JU) in Jacksonville, FL.

Jacksonville is a NCAA Div.I program in the Atlantic Sun Conference. She started every game for Jacksonville in her two years there, playing 107 games, cranking out 102 hits including 13 home runs, while driving in 62 runs and stealing 13 bases in 15 tries, primarily from the DP spot. She graduated this past May with a degree in Social Sciences.

The team will play 35 games before the top two teams will play a best 3 of 5 championship from July 27-31.
