Men's Soccer Wins on the road in South Carolina

Men's Soccer wins on the road against Denmark Technical College!

The Andrew College Men's Soccer program was on the road yesterday in South Carolina facing off against fellow NJCAA opponent Denmark Technical College. The scoring kicked off with an early goal from Denamrk Tech. However, the Fighting Tigers responding back with a stike from 18 yards out from Joe Cormier. After dominating the game in both possession and chances created the break through goal came in the 82nd minute as Kasey Newman scored to put Andrew up in the contest.

This marked the first time in 731 days that the Andrew College Men's Soccer team found the win column. First year Head Coach Kyle Griffith had this to say after the game, "It was a hard fought victory from the boys. It was by far not our best game of the season but the boys worked hard across 90 minutes and ultimately deserved the win today. After going so long without a win this program needed something to show that the Men's Soccer program is moving in the right direction and the boys provided that today."

The Men's Soccer team is back in action this Saturday as they hit the road to play Southern Union State Community College. Kick off is set for 1:00 pm CDT.
