Men's Soccer Opens at Jones County Junior College

CUTHBERT, Ga. -- First-year head coach Joshua Pantazelos takes the Fighting Tigers to Ellisville, MS on Wednesday for their season opener versus Jones County Junior College at 6:00 pm. The match kicks off a tough 18 game schedule for Andrew, as they seek a GCAA Region Championship.

The Tigers will travel to Mississippi and Alabama, plus several in-state matches, and welcome a pair of Florida schools to the Hord Athletic Complex, including national powerhouse Daytona State College in early September, before clashing with Georgia Military College (G.M.C.) to determine the NJCAA Region 17 Champion and a berth in the NJCAA Southeast District Tournament.

Pantazelos returns only three sophomores on his 21 man roster, so experience will have to be gained quickly. "Pre-season camp has been good, and we have made strides," said Pantazelos, adding, "Health will always be a key, and I'm looking forward to getting started."
