Andrew Men's Golf is Named NJCAA Div. I Men's Golf Academic National Champions
NORMAN, Okla. -- The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) released their 2022 Outstanding Team Academic Honorees this week and the Andrew College Men's Golf were named as the NJCAA Div. I Men's Golf National Champion, leading the way with a team Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.70. The five man team of Jakob Modig, Emil Wallinder, Burke Rawlinson, Charlie Cooper, and Gage Driskell produced a pair of 4.0 gpa's by Wallinder and Rawlinson, and a pair of 3.5+ gpa's by Driskell and Modig. This is the second year in a row that Head Coach Aaron Feyes's men's golf team has been named a GCAA All-Academic team, and continues the strong academic committment of the program.
Established in 1958, the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) is the professional organization of men's collegiate golf coaches. The GCAA's mission is to support its member coaches from six divisions, including the NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA, by creating educational opportunities, providing resources, and promoting its members with the purpose of enhancing their overall performance as coaches, mentors, and teachers. The GCAA also recognizes the excellence and achievements of its members and their student-athletes in academic, athletic and civic endeavors.
